DOMO: 35 years celebration

DOMO is the electronics brand of the family-owned company Linea 2000. The story begins in 1986, when Linea 2000 opens as an importer of various brands of household electronics. Soon, however, the focus shifted to building up their own electronics brand: DOMO. The company is headed by Wim De Voeght, son of founder Marcel De Voeght.

In 35 years, DOMO has become the leading Belgian brand in small household appliances. The range consists of over 350 appliances in various categories: kitchen, household, seasonal, personal care, and refrigeration and freezing. User-friendliness, good design, and a good price-to-performance ratio are features of every DOMO appliance.

Above all, DOMO wants to market innovative products that make a difference in the lives of its customers. By following and anticipating trends in the market, DOMO has succeeded in being the first to launch innovations on the Belgian market several times in recent years, including a soup maker with 2.2 l capacity, a digital waffle iron with 5 automatic programs, and the Big Croque XL.

The company is also making an ecological contribution. DOMO has been committed to self-sufficiency for years. The packaging of the appliances has been optimised so that as little plastic or Styrofoam as possible is used. In time, it is also the ambition to make the entire DOMO fleet sustainable and to switch to electric vehicles.

DOMO is also distributed abroad. For example, DOMO has its own branches in France and in the Czech Republic. The company also works with distributors in the surrounding countries (the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, etc.). The aim is to make DOMO a leading European brand in household electronics by building up a strong network of international partners.

DOMO’s headquarters are located in Herentals in the Kempen region, and is home to 60 enthusiastic and dynamic employees. They are committed to providing excellent service to DOMO customers every day. At DOMO, we skip the computer menu in order to take a personal approach. DOMO also likes to keep all knowledge in its own hands, from product development to after-sales service. In short, DOMO makes you feel right at home!
